Across Generations Across Cultures – A Digital Story Telling Project

What a great way to celebrate Saskatchewan Multicultural  Week than to attend the screening of Across Generations Across Cultures, a Digital Story Telling Project.  Across Generations Across Cultures began in January of 2015. The work brings together youth and seniors from many cultural backgrounds including Newcomer (immigrant and refugee) and First Nations. By sharing stories through the camera lens, it is hoped to establish the foundations for better community understanding and create a bridge across generations and cultures.  The project features video productions of youth participants which explore a variety of topics.

These productions will be showcased at the Broadway Theater, Wednesday, November 18th from  4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  Speakers and representatives from the community will also share their perspectives on youth engagement and cross-cultural relations.

The Saskatoon Open Door Society, in collaboration with the Core Neighborhood Youth Coop, welcomes everyone to help celebrate the diverse stories and cultures during Saskatchewan Multicultural Week.
