When we think of the Aboriginal people of Canada we may not immediately think of the Métis. But the history of this community is intertwined with the story – indeed the creation – of Canada as it exists today. Sharing many of the experiences as other Aboriginal people, the Métis also bore the unfair stigma of being seen as rebels for their support of Louis Riel. Join us as we learn more about Métis history, culture, and the opportunities that Reconciliation offers for a shared future.
