Spruce River Folk Festival – Raising awareness for landless Indigenous bands

The tenth annual Spruce River Folk Festival is a family-friendly cultural event held annually to raise awareness of landless Indigenous bands in Saskatchewan. Held at beautiful Spruce Home, just 20 km north of Prince Albert on Hwy 2. Proceeds and donations go towards the Stoney Knoll Fund, established by Mennonite Central Committee. Fine food, great entertainment, and new friends—all for an important reconciliation cause in Saskatchewan.

Pipe ceremony at 10 am.
Keynote address at 11 am: “Treaty Land Entitlement–how did we get here?”
Music begins at 1 pm: featuring Jeffery Straker, and a showcase of talent from Voices of the North
Silent auction.
Food booths, fun for the kids, and more!

Admission: $10, or $20 for the family.
