MCoS Multicultural Honours: A Celebration in Honour of Multicultural Contributions

This second annual event launches Saskatchewan Multicultural Week, takes place at Government House, and is hosted by Her Honour, the Honourable Vaughn Solomon Schofield, S.O.M., S.V.M., Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. The Betty Szuchewycz and Multicultural Youth Leadership Award are presented and a multimedia presentation is shown to recognize other people who positively contribute to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan.

Call for Nominations for Awards 

2013 Betty Szuchewycz Award: This award is presented to an adult who has made outstanding contributions to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan.

2013 Multicultural Youth Leadership Award: This is a new award that is presented to a youth (29 and under) who has contributed significantly to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan.

To nominate someone: please fill out the nomination form and submit it electronically to exec@mcos.ca by October 28, 2013.

Submissions for Recognition Slideshow Presentation

We are asking you to submit stories, pictures, videos, etc. of anyone you feel has positively contributed to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan. We will create a multimedia presentation to that features these people to be shown at the Government House ceremony. We will also feature it on our social media channels.

Submissions: Please send all stories, anecdotes, photos, videos, and other information to communications@mcos.ca. We will accept submissions until November 8, 2013.
