Mosaic Dubbed a “Festival of Cultures”, Mosaic has been held annually since 1974, when it began as a one-day festival. Since 1978, it has been a three-day event held in early June at pavilions throughout Regina. Every pavilion features traditional foods, art and craft displays, and traditional music and dancing. It is one of Regina Multicultural Council initiative. Mosaic . A Festival of Cultures will celebrate its 47th year this Mosaic using as its theme: Mo Fun. Mo Culture. Mosaic and Mo Pavilions! We invite you to explore and enjoy 22 different cultures right here in the City of Regina from Thursday, June 5th, 2014 – Saturday, June 7th, 2014.

This festival brings together Regina’s LGBTQ community to celebrate our diversity, achievements, and memories. Each year, the members of Regina Pride, Inc. organize and host a week-long festival with events such as a ceremonial flag-raising, celebration of fine arts, community building get-togethers, educational sessions, dances, a parade through our city, and much more. The Queen City Pride Festival follows after the Saskatoon Pride Festival and is one of four Pride events in Saskatchewan!

JazzFest Regina welcomes artists from all over North America and from Victoria to Halifax in Canada. We’ve opened the doors to a brand-new type of festival to our city that loves to celebrate culture. Regina JazzFest Multicultural Day is Sunday, June 15th. Free concerts at the stage on 12th Avenue by Victoria Park. The theme: Tribute to Nelson Mandela. Begins at 1:00 p.m. featuring Lorraine Klaasen, followed by several local multicultural bands. MCoS and Scotiabank are co-sponsors.

This is an annual festival for the purpose of educating the public about the different cultures within the society in order to appreciate one’s heritage and preserve valued aspects of culture and to provide scholarships to deserving students for the purpose of fulfilling their educational goals. There will be 19 pavilions in Folkfest’s 35th festival. The event will be from August 14 – 16, 2014.
