2nd Annual Afrocentric Symposium – 2025 Black History Month

Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc (TAYFFI) cordially invites member of Black community and the public to the 2^nd Annual Afrocentric Symposium scheduled to hold on Wednesday February 5 – Friday February 7, 2025, at the Saskatoon Inn and Conference Center as part of our 2025 Black History commemoration.

The 2^nd Annual Afrocentric Symposium is a 3-day learning engagement packed with informative, thought-provoking presentations and insightful panel discussions. Over 250 attendees are expected at the symposium including community leaders, academics and educators, Government-level representatives, as well as members of intersectionality organizations.

As a Black-led charity serving Saskatchewan communities, our organization commemorates Black History February of each year featuring series of events and learning engagements to honour Black hero’s past, celebrate present-day Black achievers, and build the future for Black youth and families in Saskatchewan; we build on the strength of many people in commemorating our heritage – learning together and working towards achieving social cohesion.
