Celebrate Azerbaijan: Cultural Festival

Upon arrival, each visitor will receive a special “Azerbaijan Passport” and be invited to “travel” through a series of themed cultural stations. As participants complete each activity, they will collect a stamp or sticker in their passport, encouraging them to experience every aspect of Azerbaijani culture in a fun and engaging way.

Planned stations include:

Taste of Azerbaijan – Sample traditional Azerbaijani foods, desserts, and beverages while learning about the country’s unique culinary traditions.
Dance and Movement – Learn simple Azerbaijani folk dance steps and discover the meaning behind traditional dances.
Explore Azerbaijan Exhibition – View displays highlighting Azerbaijan’s history, landscapes, UNESCO heritage, music, clothing, and cultural traditions.
Traditions Station – Experience cultural customs through henna art, traditional accessories, and other hands-on activities that showcase Azerbaijani traditions.
Azerbaijan Photo Booth – Dress up with traditional cultural props and capture memorable photos in an Azerbaijani-inspired setting.
Creative Activity Station – Enjoy crafts, colouring, and cultural art projects designed for children and families.
Traditional Games Station – Try classic Azerbaijani board games and interactive activities that have been enjoyed across generations.

The festival offers a welcoming and immersive experience where community members can learn, create, taste, dance, and connect while celebrating the diversity and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. It is designed to foster cross-cultural understanding, encourage family participation, and provide meaningful opportunities for people of all backgrounds to experience Azerbaijani culture in an interactive and memorable way
