Exhale Together lunch n’ learn event
MCC Saskatchewan’s Exhale Together project provides trauma-informed learning and support for reconciliation and anti-racism practitioners. Join us for a lunch n’ learn on Friday, March 21st at 12:00-2:30pm at Station 20 West in Saskatoon or online.
- 12 p.m. – Gather, centering activity and lunch from the Boxcar Café.
- 12:30 p.m. -Presentation by Krista Dutt, MCC’s Program Coordinator in Chicago IL.
- 1:30 p.m. – Small group discussions about the impacts of our work and practices that foster resilience, sending activity.
Facilitator information: Krista Dutt works with community partners on conflict transformation and restorative justice. She coordinated “Beyond Trauma Care: Care and Concern for Yourself” sessions for front-line community workers, similar to Exhale Together. Her presentation, “I didn’t learn everything I needed to know in Kindergarten but my son might have: The impacts of living in diverse settings” will be on community understandings of economic and racial justice.
This will be a hybrid lunch n’ learn with the centering, presentation and small group discussions available via Zoom. There is no cost to attend as the event is generously sponsored by the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan.
