Join the Saskatchewan German Council in learning more about the history of the Germans in Saskatchewan starting in the early 1900s.

Hear the captivating stories of some notable early German immigrants. In the first half of the 20th century, millions of Europeans were caught in the crossfire of major global events. Thousands of Germans responded by immigrating to Saskatchewan where they overcame numerous obstacles and eventually prospered.

Speaker Ken Dahl will weave personal stories and historical accounts into his presentation. Ken will also share some of his Mennonite mother’s memories from Fiske, Saskatchewan.
