Huskie Athletics is proud to present History Happens Now: A Celebration of Black History and Culture through sport, art, music and fashion!

Join then at @huskiewbb and @huskiembb this Saturday, February 8th for live performances from local artists including Khodi Dill, Mr. International Rooky Kamiz, plus visual art displayed around the concourse from Saskatchewan Poet Laureate and interdisciplinary artist Peace Akintade.

They are also beyond excited to partner with @masalamodeltalent as the court transforms into a runway for a live fashion show featuring local Black designers!

Plus you’ll hear from their Black student athletes throughout the program and you may even catch a few on the runway 👀 – tip-off is at 5 PM🏀😤!
