Indigenous Peoples Day – MacNeill School

At MacNeill School, we will be hosting National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 17, 2025. The event will celebrate the diverse Indigenous cultures and traditions through various activities, including Red River cart teachings, Métis spoon making, Métis finger sash weaving, storytelling, Métis jigging, Indigenous games, powwow dancing, and First Nations singing. This day will provide an opportunity for our community to learn and engage in the important work of truth and reconciliation.
