Inside the Industry – Explore Careers in Music

As part of Country Music Week 2026 in Saskatoon, the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), in partnership with SaskMusic, is proud to present Inside the Industry: Explore Careers in Music — a free half-day event designed to inspire the next generation of music professionals. Taking place on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the University of Saskatchewan, this special event will welcome high school students, post-secondary students, and young adults from across Saskatchewan for an inside look at the many career opportunities available in today’s music industry.

From songwriting and production to artist management, touring, live sound, music publishing, marketing, and more, attendees will hear directly from industry professionals working at the highest levels of Canadian music. Whether you dream of performing on stage or building a career behind the scenes, this unique event offers an opportunity to connect, learn, and discover how a passion for music can become a career.
