Poundmaker Performance Festival & Plains Indian Sign Language Workshop

This year’s festival will feature the PISL workshop, Indigenous cultural teachings of Turtle Island, performances, readings, and laboratory presentations by; Charles Koreneho, Sabina Sweta Sen Podstawska, Peter Farbridge, Janelle Pewapsconias, and others.

The event ends with a closing ceremony with Lux Benson of Red Pheasant First Nation. The events take place at the Sarasa Performance Lab site at Poundmaker Lake and the Poundmaker Museum and Gallery on Poundmaker Cree Nation.
