Regina Dragon Boat Cultural Festival

A recreational and competitive dragon boat sporting event comprised of cultural entertainment, teams, food, vendors and children’s events and trade market from local artisans and merchants celebrating the friendship and collaboration of cultures and peoples in Regina and the surrounding area.

The event on Friday, August 30 features opening ceremonies at 3:30 p.m., guest speakers, entertainment, awakening the dragons, and passing the paddle followed by 200 meter sprint racing and ending with entertainment in the beer gardens which are open to the public until 11 p.m.!

On Saturday, August 31, races begin at 10 a.m. and run until 6 p.m. culminating in the exciting 2000 meter finale. Award presentations follow and the beer gardens remain open for the evening.
