Rhythm of Azerbaijan: Dance workshop

An engaging, hands-on dance workshop introducing participants to the beauty and energy of traditional Azerbaijani dance. Led by experienced instructors, this session will guide participants through basic steps, movements and the cultural meaning behind the dances. Open to all ages and skill levels.
The AzCAR dance group, in traditional costumes, will give a short presentation on Azerbaijani national dances and teach some dance moves. The kids and adults dance group will perform several dances, and then we plan to teach participants some of the moves. The audience will be engaged and perform with the music at the end of the event. The dance group will also perform some of their best dances for the public.
