Chef Jenni’s biography:

Jenni Lessard is a chef and culinary consultant of Métis, French, and German descent, based in the Qu’Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, on Treaty 4 Territory and Métis Nation land. Raised in the boreal forest near La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Jenni’s early culinary adventures involved the berries and plant nations that surrounded her family home.

First with her local and fusion food restaurant, New Ground Café, then with her catering company, Chef Jenni Cuisine, she has earned a reputation for her innovative dishes and warm storytelling. Now, through Inspired by Nature Culinary Consulting, Jenni creates menus, recipes, and immersive culinary experiences. Every summer, she leads Adventure Destinations’ Field to Shield tour, a five-day culinary adventure from Saskatoon to Missinipe, SK, showcasing local and Indigenous cuisine.
