The 2021 Annual General Meeting of the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. via video teleconference.
This year’s AGM focuses on the business meeting. As in the past year, staff will offer education, support, and networking opportunities throughout the year.
The supporting materials including the 2020-21 audited financial statements, candidates’ bios, and videos, and the annual report will be sent in advance and made available on the website.
We always welcome your input and involvement! Please register by Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
· Membership Application/Renewal forms: The 2021-22 fiscal year has begun, so we can accept these at any time. In order to vote at the AGM, memberships must be paid prior to the meeting. Please complete the statistical questions in the membership form; this information is used to demonstrate the impact of lottery dollars in the cultural sector in Saskatchewan. You can renew your membership or become a member by clicking on this link.
· Information session for prospective board members: May 13, 2021, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Register here.
· Nomination package and form: (candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated by others as long as the candidate is fully aware of the nomination and the responsibilities of the role) – these are due May 27. Here is the link to the online board nomination package
In addition to submitting your biography, nominees are required to send a 1-2 minute nomination video about ‘what you will contribute to MCoS’ in order to be included with information circulated to the membership prior to the AGM. Here is the link to go to see an example of a nomination video and how you can create and upload/send us yours.
Again this year, MCoS will not accept nominations from the floor.
· AGM Registration form Since it will be an electronic meeting, there is no fee. Only one representative from each organization is eligible to register. We will need your organization’s exact email address for communications. Please register by June 15.
