MCoS is seeking members to join our Board of Directors. This is an opportunity to share your perspectives, learn, and make decisions in the interests of the provincial multicultural community.
(These positions must have served least one term on the MCoS board within the past five years.)
All prospective candidates should read the nominations package. It is very important that any candidates fully understand the role and responsibilities to which they are committing. It includes information on:

Candidates can nominate themselves. The Past President will accept applications until Tuesday, May 31, 2022. If the event proceeds in person, MCoS will accept nominations from the floor.
Nominees must be members in good standing, either individual or belonging to a member organization in good standing.
In June 2022, the President, Vice President and four Directors-at-large positions are up for election. All positions are two year terms except one of the Director-at-large positions is one year.
MCoS constitution states:
The MCoS Board has the following positions open for nominations: President (2 year), Vice-President (2 year) and Directors (3 two-year and 1 one-year term).
There will be an online Q&A session on Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. This is highly recommended for potential nominees. Register here.
Remember: In order for the membership to be informed about candidates, it has to received by Tuesday, May 31, 2022. If you are unable to attend, please submit a short video. In order for the membership to be informed about candidates, we will circulate nominations, along with financial statements and the annual report, prior to the annual general meeting. If the event proceeds in person, MCoS will accept nominations from the floor.
