Strategic Initiatives

Including Festivals

MCoS invests in approximately 15 projects, events, and festivals per year that fulfill our mission and contribute to at least one of the five streams of multicultural work. You can apply for up to $3,000 per project.

Some examples of Strategic Initiatives MCoS has invested in:

Nigerian-Igbo New Yam Festival;
Next Up Leadership Program;
Discovering Treasures of SK through the eyes of Newcomers;
Traditional African Wedding Ceremonies: From Africa to Canada;
Summer Solstice Festival D’été; and
India in the Park.
