Join in for the Office of the Treaty Commissioner’s Treaty Learning Journey: Let’s Talk Truth

Walk with us as we take you on the following virtual journey.

“BEFORE TREATY” – Worldview and Indigeneity “AT TREATY” – Numbered Treaties
“AFTER TREATY” – Breaches of Treaty “TODAY” – Contemporary Treaty Issues

This journey includes with practical strategies on how to teach Treaties in the classroom.
Treaty Learning Journey will be comprised of two virtual days: February 1 & 2, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm

Attendance to all 4 sessions is required to receive a certificate.

Registration is $300 for both days.

Vendor fee is $200.

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for paid delegates.

This workshop is for Indigenous or Canadian organizations whose primary mandate is to present visual or media art, as well as independent cultural workers (curator, consultant, researcher etc.). We highly encourage organizations to register at least two participants, so knowledge is shared within the organization. Participants may include board and/or staff from the organization.
